Communication Channels

Communication means exchange of data from two entities. With the help of communication system, we can transmit the message signal from source to destination.

Example:-

1.      TV Broad Cast transmission

2.      Telephone Exchange

3.      Mobile Base Station

The main part of communication system is

1.      Source: Source is the information signal in analog to digital from. This signal may contain audio/video information.

2.      Transmitter: Transmitter is the collection of electronic circuits such as modulator circuit, amplifier circuit etc. which are used to transmit signals.

3.      Communication Channel: Communication channel is the communication media between the transmitter and the receiver.
4.      Receiver: Receiver is the electronic circuit which receives the information which is transmitted by transmitter.

5.      Noise: Noise is the unwanted signal present within and outside the system.
